Thursday, 23 September 2021 – The Equestrian Jumping events of the 14^th China National Games 2021 kicked start today at the Equestrian Venue of the Qinhan New City, Xixian New District. Our sole representative Kenneth Cheng and his competition horse Funchal competed at the Team Jumping Competition/ Individual Qualifier.

Among the 8 participating teams, Shanghai took the Team Gold with the least total penalties of 16, while Inner Mongolia and Zhejiang claimed the Silver and Bronze Medals with 20 and 23 penalties respectively.

A total 32 combinations competed at the two rounds of the Team Jumping Competition and the top ranked 24 combinations will proceed to the Individual Competition scheduled on Saturday 25 September 2021. After two rounds of the Team Jumping Competition, Kenneth and Funchal ranked 4^th with only 4 penalties. They will proceed to the Individual Competition on Saturday.
