1. Equestrian Sports Promotional Programme – Virtual Visits to Riding School 2022 – 2023 (June - August)
With the overwhelming responses to the reformatted online Equestrian Sports Promotional Programme launched last year, the HKEF continues to run the virtual visit programme for all local primary, secondary and special schools students in Hong Kong during summer.
2. HKEF Online Dressage Series via Dressage Anywhere – August 2022
The DA Series continues in August with 18 classes available, including the Freestyle classes in Introductory and Preliminary levels.
Entries are now open at https://www.dressageanywhere.com/Competitor/EnterCompetition/857. Entry deadline will be Friday 26 August 2022 23:59 (GMT+8).

3. HKEF Competition Rules & Horse of the Year Points Calculation Method for 2022 – 2023
The full set of HKEF Competition Rules and HOY Points Calculation Method for 2022 – 2023 have been updated and are available on HKEF website https://www.hkef.org/eng/competitions/rules-n-regulations/rules-regulations.html
4. HKEF Tentative Calendar & Vaccination Competition Policy 2022 – 2023
With the joint efforts by all local riding schools, the HKEF tentative Events Calendar and the Vaccination Competition Policy for 2022 – 2023 will be published on Monday 15 August 2022. Stay tuned to our announcement.
5. HKEF Helmet Tag 2022 – 2023
A new helmet tag of different colour will be issued by HKEF for 2022 – 2023. Helmets worn by Athletes at all sanctioned HKEF Eventing Competitions or shows organized by other riding schools under HKEF rules must be tagged to indicate they comply with HKEF Rules.
Details of the first helmet tagging service in the coming season will be announced in due course.
6. HKEF Eventing and General Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023
To prepare for the upcoming competition season, the HKEF is organizing a series of online refresher seminar among various disciplines.
The “HKEF Eventing & General Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023” will be held twice, featuring the same contents, with one session only open for officials on Tuesday 16 August and one session open for all HKEF members on Thursday 18 August.

7. HKEF Jumping and Dressage Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023 cum 2nd Open Forum on Local Dressage Development
On top of the Eventing and General Rules Online Refresher Seminar, the “HKEF Jumping and Dressage Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023 cum 2nd Open Forum on Local Dressage Development” will also be held twice, featuring the same contents, with one session only open for officials on Wednesday 17 August and one session open for all HKEF members on Friday 19 August.

8. HKEF Membership Renewal & HKEF Coach Registration System 2022/2023
HKEF membership for 2021 – 2022 will expire on 31 August. Notice of Membership Renewal & Correspondence Update Form will be sent to members’ correspondence address by post on the second week of this month. Details will be announced in due course.
The HKEF Coach Registration System 2022 – 2023 is also open for application. The Coach Registration Fee is HK$200 for 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2023. Eligibility and registration details will also be announced in due course.
