Dear members,

The HKEF competition rules for season 2022 - 2023 have been approved by the HKEF Executive Committee (ExCo) on the 27 July 2022, following consultations with riding school representatives, members and competitors, and Rules Sub-Committee (RSC) review.

The full set of Competition Rules are updated and are now available on the HKEF website https://www.hkef.org/eng/competitions/rules-n-regulations/rules-regulations.html. All updated parts are displayed in another colour on the marked-up version rules book.

Please be reminded that HKEF Rules 2022 – 2023 will be applied to all affiliated local competitions, except for FEI competitions where FEI rules will be used.

After careful consideration by RSC and the endorsement by ExCo, for 2022 – 2023 season, once a horse-rider combination has achieved a score of 68% or above at any given level in ten graded tests, the combination will then move onto the next level.

Thank you for your support to HKEF and we look forward to seeing you all in the new competition season.

Best Regards,
