Dear members,
The quadrennial Asian Games is returning to China and will be held from 10 – 25 September, 2022 in Hangzhou. The Games will be organised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) where riders of the OCA members gather to compete and interact through sports.
40 sports will be included at the 19th Asian Games and 6 Equestrian events including Dressage Team, Dressage Individual, Eventing Team, Eventing Individual, Jumping Team and Jumping Individual, are expected to take place during the following dates:

The HKEF is now inviting for expression of initial interest to the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 Equestrian Events for better planning and preparation for this major event. While the competition levels and format of the 19th Asian Games are yet confirmed, it is proposed that the competition levels would probably remain the same as the last edition in 2018 and the qualification requirements are likely to be based on 2018.

Interested riders are required to express his or her initial interest to the HKEF Secretary General by email to [email protected], providing their HKSAR passport, passport photo, HKID card copy, intended horse(s) with training and competition plans on or before Friday 20 August 2021 6:00 p.m. (GMT+8).
If no expression of interest of affirmative written reply from you to this email on or before the said deadline, we would assume that you are not interested in entering into the Games and any future correspondence in this connection will only be sent to those replied to us with initial interest.
