  New date & Entries Open for FEI Jumping World Challenge 2019 3rd Competition & HKEF Local Jumping Competitions

 

With the permission from the FEI, the HKEF is delighted to announce that the 3rd competition of the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2019 and the Local Jumping Competitions organized by HKEF, subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club are now rescheduled on 4th January 2020 (Sat) and are now open for entries.

 

For this last leg of the FEI Jumping World Challenge series for 2019 on the new date, we have invited Professor KIM Dong-Whan from Korea (FEI Level 3 Jumping Judge) to be our Foreign Judge and Dr. Lawrence Chan as our Veterinary Delegate. All the FEI course plans were designed by Mr. Raksjan Radpour from Iran who has been involved with the FEI Jumping World Challenge for many years both as Course Designer and Technical Delegate during past Finals and as the appointed Course Designer for the series course plans back in 2001.

Important Messages

 

  • 50% subsidy on horse transportation

In order to encourage more riders to compete in the Challenge, the HKEF will provide a 50% subsidy on horse transportation for all HKEF members competing at the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2019 classes. Reimbursement for the 50% horse transportation cost will be processed upon receipt of the original invoices to HKEF office on or before 6:00p.m., 17 January 2020 (Friday). Any late submission will not be accepted.

 

  • Horse inspection
    Horse inspection will be conducted on Friday, 3 January 2020 (Friday)at the Beas River Equestrian Centre Competition Paddock at around 4:15PM (TBC). Any riders who are not able to attend the horse inspection should obtain prior approval. The HKEF is delighted to share with you our trot-up video starring Hong Kong rider Patrick Lam and demonstrating a correct trot-up at horse inspection of FEI event.

  • Best-presented Award

Best-presented Award will be selected by the Judges and the Veterinarians during the horse inspection. A cash prize of HK$200 will also be granted to the groom as a token of encouragement on competition dates.

 

  • Minimum participation

As stated in the show schedules, ungraded classes may be cancelled if less than five entries are received.
