Dear members,

Results of HKEF Online Dressage Series via Dressage Anywhere – November 2020

Organized by the HKEF and supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), the November series of our online dressage was completed with the entries closed last week. Results for individual participant have been released online at https://www.dressageanywhere.com/Home/Results.

The series is open for Hong Kong based riders via the worldwide online dressage competition website Dressage Anywhere. With the aim to provide training opportunities for local riders when physical shows were restricted under the pandemic, we were thrilled to see nearly 50% increase in the entries compared to those in October. The total number of entries recorded is 177 from all the available levels of tests in the November series.

For November, we are honoured to have experienced Dressage Anywhere judges who are of British Dressage Listed 1 or 2 qualification – Sally Merrison, Pat Watts, John Robinson, Debby Lush, Chris Porterfield, Les Smith, Chrissie Havis, Sarah Leitch, Judy Firmston-Williams – to do the judging for the HKEF classes.

The top 6 riders in both Junior and Senior sections (if any) of each class will be awarded rosettes generously sponsored by HKJC. Rosettes are now distributing to winners via their riding schools. To share the happy moments with our members, all participating riders are invited to submit their photos with their horses to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BYYOJchEzaY7sIL8kOt-Zjnk–m7FJzf?usp=sharing. For our easy reference, please kindly name the photos with the name of the rider and the horse.

We are happy to announce that BREC stays in the lead and take home the November League Champion with a total team score of 216. The winning riding school will be awarded a trophy sponsored by HKJC as an encouragement. Please kindly note that due to the recent closure of HKJC Public Riding Schools, riders from Public Riding Schools will not be able to take part in the online dressage at the moment, so the team league will be cancelled once for the December series. Your understanding on this is much appreciated.

Congratulations to BREC again! We would also like to thank all participating riders, coaches, riding schools and families for their support in this Dressage series.

We look forward to receiving your entries for December.

Best Regards,

Hong Kong Equestrian Federation
