Results of HKEF Online Dressage Series via Dressage Anywhere - October 2020

Organized by the HKEF and The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), the first month of our new online dressage series was completed with the entries closed last week. Results for individual participant have been released online at https://www.dressageanywhere.com/Home/Results.

The captioned series is open for Hong Kong based riders via the worldwide online dressage competition website Dressage Anywhere. With the aim to provide training opportunities for local riders when physical shows were restricted under the pandemic, we were thrilled to see a total of 116 entries to all the available levels of tests in the October series.

For October, we are honoured to have experienced Dressage Anywhere judges who are of British Dressage Listed 1 or 2 qualification – Joyce Head, Kim Ratcliffe, Sarah Leitch, Judy Firmston-Williams and Linda Whetstone to do the judging for the HKEF classes.

The top 6 riders in both Junior and Senior sections (if any) of each class will be awarded rosettes generously sponsored by HKJC. Rosettes are now distributing to winners via their riding schools. To share the happy moments with our members, all participating riders are invited to submit their photos with their horses to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IA50dBhQ1cwQYofa8-_0A7oC-DUp251W?usp=sharing. For our easy reference, please kindly name the photos with the name of the rider and the horse.

To encourage participation, points earned by riders from the same riding school contribute to the monthly “League Champion”. Percentage scores were converted into points as the below scale:

55% – 59.99% 2 points
60% – 64.99% 4 points
65% – 69.99% 6 points
70% or above 8 points

Please note that there is an update on the overall team scores for both PFL and TMPRS as shown in the below table.

We are happy to announce that the October League Champion goes to Beas River Equestrian Centre (BREC) with a total team score of 154. The winning riding school will be awarded a trophy sponsored by HKJC as an encouragement.

Congratulations to BREC! We would also like to thank all participating riders, coaches, riding schools and families for their support in this Dressage series. Please stay tuned for our upcoming announcement regarding the dressage tests for the November series.

If riders are interested in joining the series for November, you may visit https://www.dressageanywhere.com/Competitor/EnterCompetition/611 and submit your entries by 26 November 2020 (Thu) 23:59 (GMT+8).
