Other points to note

 

  • Horse inspection

Horse inspection will be conducted on Friday 17 December 2021 at the Beas River Equestrian Centre Competition Paddock at 4:00 p.m.. Dr. Lawrence Chan will be our Veterinary Delegate for the FEI JWC 2021 3rd Competition. Any riders who are not able to attend the horse inspection should obtain prior approval.

 

  • Best-presented Award

Best-presented Award will be selected by the Judges and the Veterinarians during the horse inspection. A cash prize of HK$200 will also be granted to the groom as a token of encouragement.

You may refer to the FEI Guidelines for the Best Presentation Award.

 

  • FEI Youth Jumping Competition Qualification Competition

Category A (1.2 – 1.3m) of the FEI JWC 2021 3rd Competition also serves as the FEI YJC 2022 qualification competition. Please refer to the Qualification System - FEI Youth Jumping Competition 2022 for details.

 

  • HKJC Vaccination Competition Policy 2021 for the Horse Shows

Please be reminded that the HKJC Vaccination Competition Policy is in place and it is very important for everyone adheres to the policy. Please be reminded to wear a mask when not mounted on a horse at all time. We count on your continued understanding and support of these measures in the interest of the safety of our equestrian community.

 

  • Registration of Riders and Horses for Local Graded Shows

Effective from 1 September 2021, all riders and horses participating in local graded classes must be registered with HKEF. For Registration Fees details, please refer to HKEF Registration Fees

 

  • HKEF Helmet Tagging Service available

The HKEF is also offering the helmet tagging service during this competition on Saturday and Sunday 18 – 19 December 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 n.n. at the BREC Judges’ Box. Eventing riders may bring along their helmets for checking and tagging by HKEF representative.

 

  • Live Streaming on HKEF Facebook

Due to the current HKJC Vaccination Competition Policy 2021, no spectators are allowed to enter into BREC Competition Venue (except for those under 18, groom or coach). In order to promote our sport and allow all competitors’ friends and families to watch the competitions, HKEF Facebook Live Streaming will be available at https://www.facebook.com/hkequestrian/ on 18 & 19 December 2021 (Sat & Sun).

 

  • Competition Results

Competition results will be announced at HKEF official website at: https://www.hkef.org/eng/latest-competition/fei-jumping-world-challenge-2021-3rd-competition-hkef-local-jumping-competitions.html and HKEF Facebook https://www.facebook.com/hkequestrian/ on both competition days.

There will not be any prize giving presentation at the competitions. Rosettes will be sent to the riding schools after the competition.
