Invitation for expression of interest to the CSIJ-B Thailand (21-22 November 2017)
Dear all members,
We are glad to inform you that the Hong Kong Equestrian Federation has received an invitation from the Thailand Equestrian Federation to send 3 junior riders and 1 Chef d’Equipe from our Federation to compete at the CSIJ-B Thailand which will be held from 21 - 22 November 2017.
Basic show information
Competition: CSIJ-B Thailand (International Show Jumping Competition)
Dates: 21 – 22 November 2017 (Tue – Wed)
Venue: The Royal Horse Guard Bangkok Thailand (Outdoor)
Quota:
-1 Chef d’Equipe
-1 team of 3 Junior Riders
(Aged 14-18, eligible to participate in this event according to the FEI General Regulations 2017 23rd Edition 1 Jan 2009, Updates effective 1 Jan 2017)
Height Level: max. 110cm
Horse: Borrowed horses
The show organizer will offer the following for athletes during the competition period:
- Accommodation (bed and breakfast) from 20 – 23 November 2017
- Meals
- Organizer Shuttle Service between hotel to showground
- Airport Transfer
- Borrowed horses
The following costs will be covered by the HKEF on a strict reimbursement basis:
- Round trip air ticket (Economy class) per each rider and the coach
- Travel insurance
- Three training lessons in Beas River Equestrian Centre as preparation for the competition
- Local transportation to the Hong Kong airport
*Note: Any accompanying person will have to bear their own costs on the above items.

We are now extending the invitation from Thailand Equestrian Federation to all our members. Should anyone of you have interest to form a team of 3 riders and one coach to compete in the captioned competition, please kindly make a reply to this email on or before 31 August, 2017 (Thu) at 6:00 p.m.
