Dressage Tests for HKEF Online Dressage Series via Dressage Anywhere in May

 

For your early preparation, we would like to share with you the tests for the HKEF Online Dressage Series via Dressage Anywhere platform organized by HKEF and supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club for May. Same as the March and April editions, Hong Kong dressage judges will be involved in the judging of some of the training classes. The May series will use a mix of existing and new tests, with a total of 15 classes from Introductory to Advanced Medium in both short and long arenas for Senior (over 16 years old) and Junior (16 years and under) sections:

Points to note

 

 1. Dressage Tests

 

- Tests can also be viewed from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CvAzx43Q9_l8HcRXDnZrusKZnvM0jjWN?usp=sharing

 

- Classes marked in red in the above table are open to specific group, i.e. Junior riders

 

 

2. Entry

 

- Create your own account to enter to the classes, you may register at https://www.dressageanywhere.com/Account/Register?reference=alt

 

- For easy reference, please kindly register with rider’s name and respective riding school

 

- Entry fee will be directly paid to the platform for every entry, price subject to the class entered

 

- Make sure only letters and numbers are included in the postcode field of the billing/shipping address. A postcode is a requirement for our payment system, but 0 is fine to use.

 

- No late entry will be accepted under any circumstances

 

- Please be reminded that if a rider (or his or her guardian) makes a mistake when entering the class, no refund will be arranged by the DA. For example, if a rider has entered the wrong class before uploading a video, he or she should contact us before moving his or her entry to the correct class.

 

 

3. Entry Deadline

 

- For the May series,  entries deadline will be on 26 May 2021 (Wed) 23:59 (GMT+8).

 

- If a rider has paid their entry fee by 23:59 on 26/05 but not uploaded their video by 23:59 on 26/05, his or her entry fee will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred to next month’s competition.

 

 

4. Rules

 

- All tests will run under Dressage Anywhere Rules (Please check the rules on the website)

 

- All participants are highly recommended to read the rules before taking the video for the series. For example, Sheepskin padding on a bridle is not permitted under BD rules and 2 marks were deducted from one rider.

 

 

5. Video taking and uploading

 

- Videos should be filmed at C marker outside arena of rider’s home stables

 

- Sound must be recorded

 

- Video format: MOV, MOD, AVI, MP4, M4V, WMV

 

- Videos can be uploaded to Dressage Anywhere, YouTube, Dropbox or WeTransfer by competitors

6. Judging (TBC)

 

We are pleased to announce that some of our Hong Kong Judges will continue to take part in the judging of HKEF Online Series in May. Details will be updated in due course, please stay tuned.

 

 

7. Announcement and Distribution of Results

 

- Results and leader board will be updated on the platform after judges finish judging all entries recorded. The HKEF will be assisting in the announcement of results

 

- Virtual score sheet with marks and comments will be sent to individual rider via email

 

- Rosettes are kindly sponsored by HKJC and will be sent by Ms. Wendy Hung from BREC to other Riding Schools for distribution

 

 

8. Monthly League Champion

 

- All riders will have to declare the riding school that they represent as part of the entry process

 

- Riding school representatives are invited to open team accounts to include your riders and accumulate scores for the Monthly League Champion. For details, please visit https://dressageanywhere.lpages.co/hk-team-account/

 

- Monthly team score will be calculated by the total points earned by riders from the same riding school and contribute to the monthly “League Champion”. Percentage scores were converted into points as the below scale:

 

55% – 59.99% 2 points
60% – 64.99% 4 points
65% – 69.99% 6 points
70% or above 8 points

 

- In case of tied place, the two schools will both be determined winners

 

 

9. Photo Collection from April Series participants

 

The HKEF is now collecting photos from all participants to the HKEF Online Series via Dressage Anywhere – April 2021. You are invited to submit photos, whether action photos riding the rounds, or photos with the rosettes to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1drn0-TSJs3BnB4lFP4u7Y1C63syNImmX?usp=sharing

 

Please kindly name the photos with the name of you and/or horses.

 

 

10. Social distancing

 

With the latest development of COVID-19 in Hong Kong, all competitors are reminded to maintain social distancing and all pandemic measures during the video recording at respective riding schools at all times.
