On 20 July 2022, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Executive Board has announced the new dates of the 19th Asian Games are from 23 September – 8 October 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
According to the Technical Handbook of the 19th Asian Games published earlier, the confirmed competition levels are as follow:
With the new dates of the Games announced, the HKEF is now inviting for expression of initial interest again to the 19th Asian Games for better planning and preparation for this major event.
Interested riders are required to express his or her interest to the HKEF Secretary General by email to [email protected] and [email protected], providing the followings:
- HKSAR passport copy;
- Valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (China Entry Permit) copy;
- HKID card copy;
- Passport photo; and
- Details on intended horses, training and competition plan (subject to Performance Manager approval) from 1 September 2022 up to 31 March 2023 with cost indication
on or before Friday 12 August 2022 6:00 p.m. (GMT+8).
For riders submitted EOI previously, it is also necessary for you to re-express your interest. Should there be no change for items 1 – 4 listed above, you are not required to resubmit them.
Kindly note that the deadline for final EOI will be on Monday 27 January 2023.
All future correspondences regarding the 19th Asian Games will only be sent to riders who replied to us with initial expression of interest.
