Announcement: Results of FEI Eventing World Challenge 2023

 

The Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China is pleased to announce the conclusion of the FEI Eventing World Challenge. The event took place on December 16, 2023. This competition provided a platform for riders to demonstrate their skills and passion in the discipline of Eventing.

 

With the participation of 9 countries in the FEI Eventing World Challenge, riders aged 12 years and above (Categories B & C) or 14 years and above (Category A) had the opportunity to showcase their abilities individually and as part of a team.

 

The competition format was designed to offer a progressive pathway for riders, starting from an introductory level (Category C) and gradually advancing towards the level just below CCI1* (Category A).

 

Representing Team HKG in the Eventing World Challenge were Jessica Williams and New Elegance, Luci Friend and Sirocco Too, and Oliver Stapleton and Saint. These riders fearlessly competed in Categories A, B, and C, showcasing their unwavering determination and skill.

 

Luci Friend and Sirocco Too emerged with 34.0 penalties in Category B (90cm). Their performance secured 1st place within Zone 8. Furthermore, they achieved an overall ranking of 2nd out of 57 combinations worldwide, with participants from 9 countries.
