Jacqueline Siu placed 3rd at CDI3* Hartpury Freestyle Competition

 

The FEI Hartpury Festival of Dressage was held from 3 – 7 July 2019 (Wednesday to Sunday) at Hartpury, England. 59 Riders from 11 nations namely Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Singapore competed in the event. The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation is glad to share with you that our Hong Kong rider, Jacqueline Wing Ying Siu, placed 3rd in the CDI3* Freestyle Competition.

 

A total of 6 CDI3* events were held over the last three days of the Festival, and the FEI Intermediate I was first held on 6 July 2019, Saturday. Jacqueline Siu placed 6th out of 39 entries from 9 nations, qualifying her for the Freestyle. The Intermediate I Freestyle to Music was held the day after (7 July 2019, Sunday), with 15 qualifying combinations. Jacqueline and Jockey Club Fuerst on Tour placed 3rd in this final round with the score of 72.050%.

This combination has achieved the silver medal at the 13th National Games in 2017 and the gold medal at the 18th Asian Games in 2018!
